My name is Rafael Bastos. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I came to the US with my family when I was a teenager. Growing up in an artistic home, I’ve always been surrounded by art and music became my passion in which I’ve decided to pursuit. I learned how to play guitar and fell in love with it, which made me choose to pursuit a career in the entertainment industry.

I got my bachelors in Audio Engineering and Post Production at SAE Institute of technology in San Francisco and that’s where my career took off! I started off in music and had the pleasure of working and meeting great artists, both small and grammy winners, local and international, by doing live shows, recording/mixing, and being a stand-in instrumentalist for shows and studio sessions.

My passion grew for film during that journey and I fell in love with storytelling. During the Covid Pandemic I started to pursuit and perfect that area as well. I got my start doing home sessions and later I spread into wedding, music videos, lyric videos, etc. My wife is a photographer in which I learned the basics of photography and decided to perfect that area as well, tackling all three areas of the most modern art forms.
